Each month, we highlight our Vows That Wow to celebrate weddings that beautifully reflect each couple’s unique love story. This month, we’re excited to feature Karlee and Trent’s wedding day, a celebration filled with meaningful moments and intentional details. From their dreamy blue-and-coral color palette to an unforgettable fireworks display and a reception brought to life by an incredible vendor team, every element came together to create a wedding that was both elegant and deeply personal.
The Wedding Day
High school sweethearts Karlee and Trent have been writing their love story since 2016, growing up side by side before officially becoming husband and wife. On the morning of the wedding, Karlee and her bridesmaids were pampered by Renee Rumler, whose soft, timeless makeup perfectly complemented the day’s romantic aesthetic. Every detail, down to the couple’s wedding rings from Necker’s Jewelers, reflected their thoughtful approach to creating a celebration that felt uniquely their own.
Design & Details
A soft palette of powder blue, coral, blush, butter yellow, and creamy white created an elevated garden-party aesthetic that carried throughout the celebration. Bright Designs brought Karlee and Trent’s vision to life through seamless planning and ensured every detail was woven into the design intentionally.
With Bright Designs at the head, the reception space was transformed through decor created a polished yet inviting atmosphere. Blue linens paired with scalloped charger plates, oversized bow napkins, gold flatware, lush floral centerpieces, and custom hanging installations filled with greenery, blooms, and sparkling disco balls made the entire tent feel like a work of art. Unique Events also created a monogrammed dance floor and custom bar to match the aesthetic. Personalized details continued through the custom stationery, signage, and invitations by Noted Design, tying the entire design together with playful patterns and elegant touches. Noted Design even personalized trucker hats for all of the guests!
Even the sweetest moments were beautifully styled thanks to Little Sweets Cake Design, whose timeless white wedding cake fit topped with a bow perfectly into the sophisticated design.
Meaningful Moments
When asked about her favorite wedding day memory, Karlee didn’t hesitate. “My favorite memory was the firework show during the reception!”
As the sun set, guests gathered to celebrate the newlyweds as fireworks lit up the sky before returning to a lively dance floor beneath twinkling lights and cascading florals. Later in the evening, basketballs made an appearance as a nod to the couple’s shared love of the game and their “Road to Forever”— a journey that began back in high school.
