Melanie’s mom passed away a few years ago, so her sister helped her into her beautiful gown. Her aunts were there to offer support, praying, hugging, and crying together before helping her put on her earrings, shoes, and veil. The groom’s mother handmade the pleated veil and her dress. Melanie and her guests celebrated their special day at the stunning Monroe, a beautiful venue that provided the perfect atmosphere for their wedding. Powder Studio worked their magic, making Melanie and her party look flawless. Bella Flora Event Design brought the vision to life with stunning floral arrangements and décor. During the ceremony, their son helped them exchange their vows, and afterward, the party bus took them around Des Moines for photos before heading to The Monroe for their reception. They shared their first dance to a cover of “Still Into You,” then, the dance floor and ice cream cart by Over The Top Ice Cream opened for everyone to enjoy. Every detail came together perfectly, creating an unforgettable day.
