This historical venue was perfect for our wedding. We fell in love with the brick train depot as the backdrop for our ceremony, but also enjoyed the updated reception space that was clean/modern to be transformed into any style you want. We leaned into the 1920s/art deco vibe the historic train depot gives and it was absolutely gorgeous. Sarah and Tim were also very easy to work with and were quick to respond to emails. You can’t ask for a better location too. Right in the East Village there really is so much for guests to do before and after the wedding!

Northbridge is Des Moines’ newest wedding venue, offering 10,000 square feet of customizable indoor and outdoor space. Features a stunning backdrop of views of a pond and fountain. A portion of proceeds supports Oaks of Redemption, funding scholarships for students in Kenya.

It was an honor to DJ and Emcee at Northbridge Event Center. The staff was welcoming from the moment we arrived and incredibly attentive all night—clearing tables, checking in often, and even bringing us water and snacks. The venue is elegant, clean, and spacious, with both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, including a beautiful pond backdrop. The team flipped the room in about 30 minutes while guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio, and the transition was seamless. Faithful Frequency Celebrations & Events looks forward to celebrating here again.

Glen Oaks was a dream wedding venue! We had our ceremony on the croquet lawn, cocktail hour on the beautiful veranda, and the reception inside. Such a unique and gorgeous venue – I loved having different areas and rooms for our guests to go. It truly felt like we had the entire building.
