I photographed a beautiful May wedding at Bella Terre. It was a beautiful day, the venue has such a unique and classy look. The food was wonderful and everything went very smooth.

The HarMac takes the cake for my current FAVORITE Iowa Wedding Venue!! As a Wedding Photographer in Iowa, this venue has everything I could ever ask for – gorgeous windows, so much natural light, exposed brick, beautiful getting ready suites AND a finished rooftop which was my personal fav!!! I shot my first wedding at the HarMac back in July and they are still some of my favorite photos to this day! This venue is so versatile and there are so many beautiful areas to take photos (not to mention multiple options on where to hold your ceremony!!). The staff was so gracious and helpful, it was such a joy to work with them. And a little bonus – they have an incredible bar and bar staff!! Needless to say, this is an INCREDIBLE space for your Iowa Wedding Day!

The Des Moines Heritage Center is located in the heart of the Historic East Village and is the epitome of timeless. History plays a large part in this venue as this 110 year old building was once the main east-side train depot that served as the main depot for four railroads entering Des Moines. They have preserved the building by keeping the historic character while still renovating to become a modern space. The new space connected to the renovated depot can accommodate 300 guests at tables and 400 theater style. With it’s beautiful large windows and natural light, you can truly transform the space into whatever style fits you best. When you choose this venue, you are participating in your community by helping to support their cause of preserving the city’s historical sights.
What a fantastic experience from start to finish! The venue itself is beautiful, and the team behind it are phenomenal. They were so attentive and incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process. Our questions were answered quickly and every need was met without a second thought. The whole experience felt seamless and stress-free. We’ll absolutely be back for future events!

We had our wedding here and as a couple not from Iowa city this was such a unique venue to be able to invite family and friends and give them a taste of Iowa City. The staff were great to work with from the start. They were super accommodating make our event special and personal for us. Special shout out to Sarah, the wedding and events specialist, for being so responsive and helpful each step of the way! We were so happy to have our wedding here!

I got married at Northbridge. It’s such a beautiful venue with so many options for making your dreams come true. The staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming. They are always looking for ways to grow and adapt. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We loved having our wedding reception at Willow on Grand – it was perfect! Molly, Amanda and their team were all such a joy to work with. We loved how convenient the courtyard and parking lot was to accommodate food trucks for dinner. They even worked with me to recreate my favorite cocktail for our open bar, and nailed it! The space is beautiful, and we had the absolute best time. Highly recommend!

We loved having both indoor and outdoor spaces. Our guests enjoyed lounging outside, taking in the views, the weather, and the overall atmosphere. This was exactly what we hoped for, space to curate intimate lounge areas and encourage meaningful conversation. Having the option for an outdoor ceremony was incredibly important to us, and it did not disappoint. And let’s not forget the photo opportunities, we have SO many stunning images with gorgeous backdrops throughout the property.
