For April, we are excited to feature Kathryn + Ben’s timeless wedding at Little Lights on the Lane captured by Jennifer Weinman Photography. Read on to learn more about all the details of their love story and special day.
How the couple met
Kathryn + Ben’s story began during their freshman year of college in their Interpretation of Literature class. From the moment Ben met Kathryn, he knew something was different about her. Although Kathryn played hard to get, Ben eventually won her over and the rest is history!
The Wedding Day
The couple’s special day commenced with Kathryn and her bridesmaids getting ready in the beautiful Rapture Suite. This serene and thoughtfully designed space, complete with professional hair and makeup stations, is one of the many stunning features of Little Lights on the Lane. After slipping into her gorgeous gown, Kathryn and Ben shared a sweet moment together before the ceremony. The bride shared, “Ben & I’s favorite memory was our private first look and reading of our vows. It was so intimate and special and immediately following this we were surprised with our dog, Sadie.”
The ceremony took place in Little Lights’ beautiful outdoor space; the large maple tree was perfectly complemented by white roses lining the aisle, creating a romantic and soft atmosphere. Jennifer Weinman Photography captured every heartfelt moment, ensuring the couple’s memories are preserved forever. Kathryn reflected further on the day working with Jennifer, sharing, “Jen has so much experience, and knowledge and insight into what needs to be done on your wedding day, and even leading up to the big day. She gives great advice and is such a fun person to work with!”
With the team’s expertise at Unique Events, the reception space mirrored the intentionality of the ceremony, with their mix of gorgeous table runners and table decor perfectly complementing the beaming ceilings and warm ambiance of Little Lights’ main hall. After heartfelt speeches from family and friends, the music began, and the bride and groom danced the night away!
Every meaningful detail of Kathryn + Ben’s wedding made their day truly memorable. They will forever cherish their special day, and now – so will we! Cheer’s to the Coverick’s!
