With heartfelt moments all throughout their day, Morgan and Garrett’s day was nothing short of special. Read on to learn more about all the details of their classy, all-white September wedding.
The Wedding Day
It was an all-white elegant affair for everyone! Morgan and Garrett had all the guests wear white, setting the tone for a day full of purpose, connection, and celebration. Reflecting on her sweet day, the bride shared that one of her favorite wedding day memories was just moments before the ceremony. “My mom was helping me finish getting ready at the venue, and I looked out the second story window to the garden below (where we would be getting married an hour later). The sun cast a golden glow. The flowers were in full bloom. And bright petals coated the aisle…I quietly watched as more guests started rolling in, and, slowly, the flourishing garden turned to a sea of white. My now husband, Garrett, and I requested all guests join us in wearing white because they each played a part in carrying us to unity. And who says white has to be reserved for the bride? It felt like a holy moment—and maybe the closest to Heaven I’ve ever felt.” It was a quiet, meaningful moment that was also accompanied by prayer within each of the wedding parties.
The outdoor ceremony was truly unforgettable. Guests dressed in all white contributed to the timeless aesthetic, while chic parasols from Monarch Events offered both shade and sophistication, creating a soft, elegant atmosphere for everyone in attendance. Flower-filled baskets, also from Monarch Events, lined the aisle after the mothers walked with them in hand—adding a romantic touch and perfectly setting the stage for Morgan’s grand entrance. Garrett’s father officiated the ceremony, and later, Morgan’s dad gave a tearful exhortation. As the bride shared, “Those moments will be etched in my memory forever, having both of our dads up at the altar with us.”
The reception was just as dreamy, with white florals and golden accents throughout the space. The golden candle candelabras and other table decor from Something Chic Floral brought in the perfect touch of vintage luxury. Parinda Cupcakes’ ivory bow wedding cake was both elegant and delicious, serving as a stunning focal point in the room (and staying on theme with the all-white affair). All of these details came together beautifully to create an elegant and cohesive space.
Intentional Moments & Details
One unique and meaningful moment that Morgan and Garret prioritized during their reception was a special “foundations” slow dance. It began with their grandparents, followed by their parents, and finally, the bride and groom joined in. “Dancing on the floor around the couples who have shaped us–and been an example for us–was indescribably special,” Morgan shared. The evening wrapped up with a lively dance floor and a joyful tunnel exit to send the newlyweds off in celebration.
Every heartfelt detail of Morgan and Garret’s wedding made their day all the more special. All of this was made possible thanks to Shari Nesbit of You’re Invited Weddings & Events. “I can’t imagine our day running without her,” Morgan shared. “I’m not always great at nitty-gritty execution plans—but I love coming up with the ideas! Shari let me dream big, then made things happen. I could not recommend her more! She carried peace through the whole planning process and made everything feel stress-free.” With Shari’s guidance and the support of other incredible vendors, everything came together seamlessly, resulting in a day that was truly unforgettable.
