Week after week, our team receives and showcases breathtaking weddings from all across Iowa, and for this month’s Vows That Wow we are delighted to feature Sydney and Noah Hartman. Their day at the Clubhouse at Talons was the perfect balance between modern chic elegance and romance, with playful pops of candy pink and luxurious silk drapery.
HOW THE COUPLE MET
Sydney and Noah met in college in Omaha while playing their respective sports. They fell in love and later discovered they had grown up only ten minutes apart without ever knowing—proof that sometimes fate has its own timetable!
THE CEREMONY
“Our wedding day was truly the most magical day of our lives. The ceremony felt like a dream with beautiful flowers, the peaceful view of the course, and the joy of saying our vows surrounded by the people we love most. One of my favorite moments was walking across the bridge with Noah, hand in hand, knowing it was the start of our forever.” said Sydney.
The Clubhouse at Talons provided the serene course views that framed their vows, with their ceremony taking place underneath the pavilion, while White Willow Events delivered the design that made the ceremony feel personal and beautiful. Sydney’s gown from Rosalie completed the look; a timeless, strapless gown in which she looked absolutely exquisite.
COCKTAIL HOUR & RECEPTION
Sydney & Noah utilized the many different versatile spaces at The Clubhouse, with the ceremony taking place underneath the pavilion near the course, cocktail hour near the bar, dinner in the Grand Ballroom, & finally, the dance party on the terrace. “The sunset lit up the course in the most perfect way, and then the night turned into such a fun celebration. We danced, laughed, and soaked in every single moment with our closest friends and family.”said Sydney. River Center Catering served a memorable menu which included savory passed appetizers (included steak bites & caprese sticks) during cocktail hour, followed by a perfect plated dinner. Chase, owner of JM3 DJs & Productions, kept the dance floor moving with high energy all night long, beneath the tented terrace, while disco balls sparkled overhead. It was no surprise that everyone was dancing and laughing the whole night! White Willow Events also executed the decor and planning, bringing Sydney’s soft light pink vision to life with elegant table settings and floral touches. Velvet pink couches framed the checkered dance floor on the terrace, while cascading florals filled the grand ballroom and silk drapery set the scene behind the head table.
Looking Back
“Every detail felt like us, and the joy in the room was unforgettable. It was the perfect mix of romance, meaning, and celebration, and it is a day we will carry with us forever.” Seeing Noah for the first time that day and sharing their private vows remains Sydney’s favorite memory. The bride also shouted out White Willow Events , giving them a wholehearted 10 out of 10 for bringing their vision and dreams to life.
