Nestled in the vibrant East Village of downtown Des Moines, the Des Moines Heritage Center presents a unique blend of modern sophistication and classic charm. With the Event Center accommodating up to 300 guests, it’s perfect for both grand celebrations and intimate gatherings. The expansive, open floor plan provides ample room for dining, dancing, and versatile seating arrangements.
The Event Center is adjacent to the Historic East Des Moines Union Depot. This early 20th-century train depot has been carefully restored to preserve its original architectural charm and can serve as a space for getting ready, rehearsal dinners, cocktail hours, and photos during events.
The spacious, open plaza, surrounded by wildflowers and roses, features bistro lighting, creating an inviting and picturesque space for outdoor gatherings.
